August 2024
As September 3rd inches closer and closer, school supplies may be a question. Please know that essentials are provided by the school. However, some students and families may want to have their own personal or special school supplies/materials. The following is a list of suggestions if this is the case. These are optional.
- pencils, eraser, pencil sharpener
- pens (for older grades)
- calculator and math set (for older students)
- pencil crayons
- crayons
- dry erase markers
- lined paper
- headphones for computer use
- Kleenex/tissues
- headphones
Items that we do ask that your student bring with them to school include:
- refillable water bottle
- indoor shoes
- backpack
- lunch kit (with containers that students can open independently)
- extra set of labelled clothing for our youngest learners (in a Ziplock bag)
Please remember to label, label, label! It can be easy to misplace items, and labelling helps students to stay united with their belongings! Also, if your family needs support with school materials, please reach out to the school office - we're happy to help!
During the first week of school there will be several forms that are sent home. Please take a moment to complete and send them back with your student(s) as promptly as possible. This paperwork supports our office to have current and up to date information.
Preparing for Weather: We will be taking advantage of outside time for learning and DPA (Daily Physical Activity). Students are encouraged to always be prepared for all types of weather - - outside gear for rain and snow.
